Position: DVT Engineer

Resulting from our continued success and growth, MPSTOR has an opportunity for a Software Support and Test Engineer to join our team for an exciting career at the cutting edge in the data storage and server product design. We are looking for candidate to be part of our field support and test team.

Job Description

Verify through system level testing product conformance to its specifications in our supported environments of RHEL, Windows, and VMWARE

  • Execute system level tests and provide diagnostic reports to the software development team.
  • Develop, enhance and automate system tests for conformance testing and specific customer configurations.
  • Collecting and documenting detailed information from the field, to report to our internal teams in order to resolve customer issues.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Masters degree preferred.
  • Ability to upgrade or downgrade, BIOS, FPGA, IPMI, as well as OS and Software packages.
  • Experience with SAS, PCIe, Ethernet (10G, 40G), InfiniBand, FC, RAID H/W And technology.
  • Ability to set-up test environment to reproduce reported issues.
  • Experience in installing and configuring various OS - Linux (mandatory), Windows, and VMWARE.
  • VMWARE experience is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience of writing scripts using Linux Shell or Python.
  • Ability to execute performance test using I/O and benchmark tools.
  • Ability to analyse and debug system performance issues.
  • Experience working with remote cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and support.
  • Strong technical project skills with excellent ability to prioritise, multitask, and organise.
  • Focused and action-orientated; pragmatic and self-disciplined; good at team motivation and delegation. 
  • Self-driven and resourceful with the ability to achieve goals independently as well as within a group.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
